TOS Cafe & Cocktails

Jubilee Hills is a partyaholic area of Hyderabad where you can find many pubs, clubs, and lounges to overcome the whole week stress and work pressure. TOS is one of the amazing places you will find in Jubilee Hills area. Not many of the people know that TOS is the same place which was previously known as The Other Side. As the place got revamped with more innovative ideas for the ambiance, food, and service to match the competition level of other lounges. As soon as I have entered the place the ambiance made me awestruck to it. The place not like other lounges too gloomy or over loud music is being played. The place is divided into section one is comfortable dining place and another one is perfect lounge space with live screening bar and seating area for the people. When we say lounge the food quality and taste will be on toss whether it has good food or will it soothes my taste buds or not. Like this thoughts, clouds were rotating over my head but when I have tasted the food it was amazing and the clouds were blown away.

Colorful Orange and Beetroot Salad as the name is defining the multiple blast combos of flavors along with iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, and walnuts. Grilled Watermelon & Feta Cheese Salad the watermelon slices were perfectly grilled to bring out the naturally sweet flavor of the fruit and it was the best combo with crumbled feta cheese, iceberg lettuce, and black olives. Veg Bruschetta perfectly toasted bread topped with freshly chopped veggies tossed in a balsamic vinegar along crumble feta cheese was bang on the taste. Bhindi Pakoda it was completely wrapped with the roasted peanuts on the outside with some seasoning. It was good but peanuts were dominating the taste more than the bhindi. Cajun spiced prawns it was perfectly marinated in the spices dipped in the thick batter and deep-fried. As the batter was a little bit thick the flavors got little suppressed. Red Hot Prawns as the name says a lot about the dish. As the plating of the dish is done in such a way that was really making it look like red-hot. But it was well-balanced spice dish we had there. When you take a bite of it first you can taste the sweetness comes from honey and then bang you feel the hint of chiliess. Shikampuri croquettes A royal kebab dish gets a the continental touch in the form of croquettes good innovation but the dish needs a little bit of more seasoning to bring out the flavors perfectly. Paneer Gyro Wrap one of the best veg wraps I have ever had it. Soft fresh bread with perfect paneer stuffing with amazing Tzatziki sauce. Shezwan rice with ginger lamb and ginger chicken the perfect amount of shezwan sauce used to make this wonderful fried rice along with two shezwan based gravy mutton and chicken. The lamb gravy was really good one but chicken one was the perfect combo with the rice. Mysore bisebhella a south Indian dish gets an Italian touch. isn’t good the Bisi Bele Bath gets infused with risotto. The creamy texture of the cheese and the amazing aromas of the ghee was too good. One bite and it was like heavens feeling on the earth. Roasted chicken with mashed potatoes one of the expensive dish on the menu that can stuff at least 4-6 people in a group. The whole chicken was marinated in spices and slow roast cook to gives the perfect crust on the outside chicken skin layer and the chicken was moist, juicy and tender from inside. It was served along with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled veggies.

Desserts: As the starters and the main course outburst our expectation level we were so stuffed to move further and you can never ever end a meal without the desserts. We had my favorite dessert Tiramisu that aroma taste was mind blowing still I can feel the taste on my taste buds. Then we had Beignets English fritter/ French doughnut was a bliss to have it. Beignets was dusted with the powdered sugar and accompanied with the maple syrup and chocolate sauce.
