#FOODIESQUAD we were invited for food tasting session by the management and food was on the house. The place isn’t a new one which has recently got opened or started their operation recently. The restaurant is very much famous among the IT peoples around the place during the lunch time and it’s difficult to spot place for yourself.
The place is good it’s not like heavy decorated place or more over fancy things you can find in this place. It’s completely simple with the walls has the New York Landscape picture all over the wall and ceiling has sky touch to it. They have a smoking area for the people who like to smoke. Then at the last they have a space for buffet serving. As you enter inside the restaurant you can see that there is replica of Statue of Liberty welcoming you.
So the session has been started with nice mocktails there were around four mocktails that was served to us.
- Cucumber Cooler.
- Banana Strawberry shake.
- Orange Mojito.
- Chilli Guava.
Fried Egg Plant and tossed in Chinese sauce:
The egg pant was sliced and dipped in a batter and deep fried then tossed in sweet and sour sauce. The crunch from the deep fried batter and tanginess of sauce was perfectly complimenting each other and it was garnished with sesame seed on the top.
It was one of most like dish that we have been served. Quail was perfectly cooked with spices the taste was similar to the dry bhuna masala. Like most of the time when had quail he meat gets little dry and chewy but over here it wasn’t like that.
Fish and Chips with Tartar Sauce:
It’s one of the most famous continental food fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was not that thick and well-seasoned the fries was not much like normal one.
It was sweet, tangy and little bit spicy too. As it has been said like
If you want to have sweet and tangy flavor bomb try Chinese cuisine and you will experience wonderful flavors at a single go. Even we had same experience with the prawns.
American cheese Potato:
So what we have is American cheese potato. The deep fried potato topped with melted American cheese and garnished with chopped onions and coriander. As the potato was deep fried the oil was not soaked out from the potato which was giving little oily taste.
It was nicely marinated with the tikka masala and then cooked in tandoor. The taste was good the most liked it was because the freshness of the paneer due to this it was melting in mouth.
Fried Crab meat:
One of my favorite dish deep fried crab. As it was completely only meat chunks. Dipped in batter and deep fried. Taste was good but the thing was the salt seasoning was little bit extra and it was little bit oily.
Now a days we have tried paneer masala maximum at every place. The taste has completely fixed in our taste palate shouldn’t be spicy or etc. It was same kind of a taste consistency what I have found not much change in recipe but yes a change in presentation.
Butter Chicken Masala:
It was creamy buttery and tasty chicken masala I had over here. Chicken were perfectly cooked with the spices and absorb all the aroma and flavor inside it.
Rogan josh one of my favorite dish which is cooked with the bones and meat. I like the dish it was perfect. It was served along with Indian bread basket.
So you have to end your food with nice dessert and caramel custard was perfect no too sweet nor watery. Perfectly cooked soft and fluffy too.
I must say that the service was quick and good. The serves knows what items need to be served first and next. It was like we can taste all the items perfectly like which ingredient is much more dominating in each item.
I must say the place is good but still they can do much more-better with their ambiance as it completely simple but little rigid. Yeah must say that they have clearly focused on what they are serving, how much they are serving.
