To search one of the best restaurants in Hyderabad which serves amazing Telugu dish is non-other than Ulavacharu. The name is not new to the people who stay over here but now they have got the new outlet open in Gachibowli which is new.

The ambiance look and feel of this restaurant are completely different from its first outlet. It’s the interior of the restaurant portrait the olden day’s village style houses. The place is properly divided into different sections of seating areas. This food journey was an epic experience from the welcome sweet dish to the end of the dining with the sweet paan.

As soon as we were allotted with the table and seats we were served with the welcome sweet dish Mysore Pak one of the oldest sweets from the Telugu cuisine. Then we had the refreshing drink Rajamundry Rose Milk milk infused with the rose and sugary syrup and served chilled served.

Starters:

Special Chicken Leg piece Boiled chicken pieces coated with the breadcrumb and deep-fried. The leg piece was served hot and the taste was good and it was a little bit dry inside. Bangla Kodi one of my favorite dish since the day I had it in Jubilee hills Ulavacharu outlet. Both chicken piece and potato slice skewed in a toothpick and deep-fried then sprinkle with chat masala was amazing. Crunchy Curd Cutlet hung curd mixed with carrot beans and herbs wrapped in bread slice and deep-fried. The cutlet was soft but it needs a little bit of seasoning is required to add more flavor to it. Keema Kaju Kariyapaku Keema and Kaju were well cooked with the spices and curry leaves were dominating the flavor of the dish which was good. Jedi Pappu Kodi Pakodi it is a sort of fritters. The chicken cashew Pakodi has the crunch juiciest and flavor in each bite I was completely indulged in that. Pandu Mirpakaya it is a veg skewer deep-fried and tossed with the tangy, sweet red chilli paste and sprinkled with fried cashews on the top. Boneless Fish the crisp and tasty fried fish pieces were good and yummy. Bamboo Chicken marinated chicken slow cooked on the fire inside the bamboo which retains the all the spices and chicken flavor inside it.

Main Course:

We have started the main course with Miryala Kodi Kura and Methi Chaman along with this we had butter naan and plain naan. The country chicken was good but it cannot compare with the methi chaman. The sweet tangy and creamy taste of the dish was perfectly melting in my mouth with the butter naan. After the curry and roti show then came pulav time we had Pacchi Mirchi Kodi Pulav, Rayala Vari Kodi Pulav then Guntur Bilal Biryani and last was Pappu Charu Annam. The pulavs were good and the restaurant tried to replicate the famous biryani from Guntur i.e. Guntur Bilal Biryani I think they have 70% succeed in replicating it. But the star was Pappu charu annam rice cooked with lentils and topped with pure ghee and ghee fried cashews it was amazing.

Desserts:

The wonderful journey has come to end as we moved the desserts ” It was like picture abhi baaki hai mere dost”. We had tasty Junnu, Apricot Delight and Malai Kulfi

One of the best dining experience i had in recent time with the Telugu cuisine food which made me mad over it forever
